AIM GRADUATES WIN ATOM AWARDS
Sebastian Danta’s latest short film 'Father' was awarded
Best Animation at the 2008 Enhance TV ATOM Awards. This beautiful hand-drawn film tells an acutely personal story about the filmmaker’s father. Sebastian, a 2002 AIM graduate, also had considerable success on the international stage with his student films, 'Flat' and 'Losing Face'. 'Immersion', a collaboration between AIM graduates of 2005, Angela Barnett, Andrew Buchanan, Darren Ballingall and Christian Rubino won the 2008 ATOM Award for Best Multimedia Production
in the Open Category. The highly engaging underwater virtual world was chosen as the winner by industry professionals in competion with other sophisticated and polished works.
