The centre for Animation and Interactive Media (AIM) has welcomed international students since 1995. Students have come from countries as diverse as Thailand, Germany, China, USA, Norway, South Korea, Canada, Taiwan, India, United Arab Emirates, Malaysia, Indonesia, China, Taiwan, Bangladesh, Singapore, Israel, Columbia, Mexico and Brazil and have been successful graduates of either AIM's coursework or research programs.

"It is an enriching and rewarding experience for both staff and local students to have people from other countries studying within our centre. Projects reflecting different cultural aesthetics, different views on life, and which use different ways and means of creating things, have greatly added to the diverse collection of innovative work produced at our centre. The presence of international students has taught us much and has helped to develop and refine our teaching practice. We have also established invaluable international contacts through the new friends we have made. As an international student, you will find a welcoming home here at our centre." |
