The Disability Support Worker Awards

One of the highlights of the Disability Support Worker Conference is the Disability Support Worker Awards Ceremony. The awards will be presented by the Minister for Community Services, the Honorable Sherryl Garbutt MLA. The Disability Support Worker Awards are presented to disability support workers who have done extremely well in their chosen field. Nominated by their peers, managers, and/or service users, these awards recognize the important contribution disability support workers make to the lives of Victorian people who have a disability.

These awards will be presented at a fully catered ceremony, which will be held on the Thursday evening of the conference.

The Disability Support Worker Awards are a combined initiative of ACROD Victorian Division, Council of Intellectual Disability Agencies (Vic) Inc., VICRAID, Health and Community Services Union, Australian Education Union and the Department of Human Services, Disability Services.
