old Balinese dancer

Isn't he magnificent with twinkling eyes full of vigor, lithe sinuous body, wisp of white hair, and his little coconut cup of pleasure? He's wearing a traditional Indonesian sarong with its aged colours of blue and brown.

I met this lovely spryly old man in a village North of Denpasar in 1978. He struck this pose for my camera. It was not the rice wine, 'brem', that had affected him. Rather he was reminiscing of the days when he may have been the finest male dancer in his village. His pose is typical of Balinese dance. The first dance I saw in Bali was its world renown Ketcak.
or a burmese man?
