 RMIT Vibrational Spectroscopy Facility
The RMIT Vibrational Spectroscopy Facility (RVSF) is located at  RMIT Building 3 Level 3 Room 6. The Facility provides vibrational spectroscopy service to students and researchers within the School of Applied Sciences as well as consultative and training services for industry.

The Facility consists of the following Instruments

  1. Perkin-Elmer Spectrum 100 : MID IR.
  2. Perkin-Elmer Spotlight 400 : Imaging Microscope FTIR.
  3. Perkin-Elmer Spectrum 2000 : NIR, MID , FAR and AutoIMAGE Microscope.
  4. Perkin-Elmer Spectrum 2000 : MID IR.
  5. Perkin-Elmer RamanStation400 : Raman IR.
  6. Perkin-Elmer Spectrum 1000 MID IR.
  7. Perkin-Elmer Spectrum 1 Mid IR teaching instrument.

RVSF is also involved in a number of collaborative research projects and actively encourages such collaboration. Anyone wishing to collaborate in research ventures please contact Professor Suresh Bhargava - Academic Director of the facility.
