General Meeting of the RMIT Alpine Club.

DATE: This Thursday 23rd October.
TIME: Meeting kicks off 5pm till 6.30pm, then
booze on afterwards.
BBQ and Beverages will be supplied by lovely
CCUSA.
Those who are trying to put in some study time this
week, see this as a healthy break!
Voting will be conducted for 2004 committee positions.
Every one is welcome to join the festivities of voting out the
old and bringing in the new for a great club in 2004. You many
run for more than one position. Any problems please contact Katherine

Alpine Club Committee Positions for 2004
Executive Positions.
President: The role of
the President is to ensure all of the duties/jobs that need to
be done are carried out. If there are no volantes for the job
the President will have to complete the duties/job.
Eligibility: In order to be eligible for this position, nominees
need to have been on the committee for more than 1 year.
Vice President: The role
of the Vice President is to help the President in the running
of the club. In the absence of the President the Vice President
will have to take over.
Eligibility: Nominees need to have been on the committee for more
than 1 year.
Secretary: The role of
the Secretary is to carry out all secretarial duties/jobs. This
person is the main point of contact with the members, providing
information and answers.
Eligibility: Nominees need to have been on the committee for more
than 1 year.
Treasurer: The Treasurer
has to take care of the accounting side of the club.
Eligibility: Nominees need to have been on the committee for more
than 1 year.
Committee Positions
Membership Co-ordinator: This is a
very important role as it is this persons job to organise a team
of people to help out during all O’week activities. The
Membership Co-ordinator is in charge of signing up all new/past
members.
Eligibility: This person needs to be a member of the club, preferably
someone who has been a part of the General committee.
Sponsorship Co-ordinator:
The role of the Sponsorship Co-ordinator is to organise all sponsorship
deals/contracts.
Eligibility: This person needs to be a member of the club.
Advertising/Newsletter Co-ordinator:
The role of the Advertising/Newsletter Co-ordinator is to create
Posters, flyers and the layout of newsletters for the Alpine Club.
Eligibility: This person needs to be a member of the club.
Website Co-ordinator:
The role of the Website Co-ordinator is to create the website
and make sure it is regularly updated on the club webspace.
Eligibility: This person needs to be a member of the club.
Social Co-ordinator:
The Social Co-ordinator will need to organise parties, pub-crawls
and other social gatherings with the help of other committee members.
Eligibility: This person needs to be a member of the club.
General Committee:
Anybody can be part of the General Committee. If you would like
to know what goes on within the club and want to help out whenever
help is need you can be on the General Committee. Being on the
General Committee is a great way of finding out what happens within
the club.
