 WHEN:
Whenever possible, we will provide lessons to club members that want them.
Our main Learn to Surf weekend trip is to Torquay on the weekend after
University O-Week. If you missed out on that trip, on just about every
trip we do we'll be able to do lessons for you.
COST: Lessons are $20 for two, two hour sessions. All boards and wetsuits are provided along with trained and fully qualified surfing instructors. Will I Stand Up??!?!?!

 WHAT?:
Lessons for those that can surf. Are you sick of stumbling around in the
dark, trying to figure out what you're doing wrong? That 'next level' of
surfing slipping from your grasp? All you're mates giving you conflicting
advice?
WHERE/WHEN:Every first Sunday of the month, starting at the 4th of April we'll be holding advanced surfing lessons aimed also at competitions. We'll video tape your surfing and along with professional coaches and State & National title winners coaching you along you'll be surfing at another level! All you need to do is join the club, either full or comp membership and you'll be able to take the lessons. We held one class for a weekend last year and everyone was stoaked at how much they learned during the day. WHY: Our aim is to get a good base and encourage RMIT's students to start competing in SUSA and Intervarsity comps. Even if you don't want to compete, you'll learn so much you'll be silly to pass up an opertunity like this. |
